Seen around...CPI BBQ, Jags and Killer Whale
Friday, July 23, 2010 at 5:47PM Here are some shots from goings on during another beautiful week of weather here in Port of Angels.
Thank you CPI for your generous contribution of internet service to the Center for Community Design. Yes, that's Craig Johnson and CPI staff putting on their annual BBQ. Wonderful as always? Thanks Craig for inviting us and all the dignitaries. Yes, that's Kent Myers looking Hollywood and Glenn Cutler in disguise. Perfectly prepared plates in foreground are Carol's (left) and Mike's (right). Notice unconventional but creative use of hotdog bun for brisket sandwich.
From my view of the ferry dock I noticed Jaguars appear on their way to prowl in Victoria. Here's one of only 300 that were made to replace the E-Type...both with 12 growling cylinders.
Finally, a stop by at the carving shed at Jamestown S'KlallamTribe center found Dale Faulstich with the ready-to-install Killer Whale for the front of the Community Center/Clinic. We had planned this together 5 years ago. It's great to see another vision come to pass and adorn their Tribal Center. Great work Dale and crew.
