Elwha Klallam Heritage Center Opening

Amid the ceremonial drumming, songs, ribbon cutting and expressions of gratitude, the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe officially opened their Heritage Center yesterday.

The weather was perfect and the overall feeling of community and healing was experienced by all who attended. Thanks to the drumming circle for giving the Great Hall its first serious acoustical test. It passed with flying colors!
