What a spot on some of the finest fly fishing in the world! It was such a pleasure seeing how they brought together an interior design package that created the feeling we all had about what this could become in the design and construction phases.

Kathy did an especially nice job of matching classic Montana furniture pieces like the wagon wheel bar stools, rustic dining table and chairs and beautiful wildlife and cowboy art in each of the spectacular rooms. Of course none of this would have been possible without Bruce Hover, master-builder extraordinaire, who bought all of the visions to reality and surprise with his abilities to bring nature into his buildings. What started as a "Tree Room" idea in a sketch became what you see here largely through Bruces talent and knowing how things fit into the design as a whole.

Thank you CPI for your generous contribution of internet service to the Center for Community Design. Yes, that's Craig Johnson and CPI staff putting on their annual BBQ. Wonderful as always? Thanks Craig for inviting us and all the dignitaries. Yes, that's Kent Myers looking Hollywood and Glenn Cutler in disguise. Perfectly prepared plates in foreground are Carol's (left) and Mike's (right). Notice unconventional but creative use of hotdog bun for brisket sandwich.

This little oasis on the west coast tip of the lower 48 is where Linda and Greg Colfax, besides being the best fisherwoman and fisherman on the Sooes River in Neah Bay, have combined the extraordinary skills of the master chef and master carver. They will offer you the best wood-fired pizza and bakery items west of the Elwha while giving you some tips on hooking into that wild steelhead of your dreams. The well appointed "Apocalypto Motel" units upstairs put you right in the middle of the village commercial fishing activities and are a short walk to the village center, marina services buildings and Makah Days festivities on August 27 to 29.
